Every great product starts with a real problem. Ours started at a wedding planning table, frustrated by tools that were either too expensive, too complicated, or just plain ugly. Someone on our team said: "There has to be a better way." So we built it.
We designed a clean, fast invitation generator that creates a proper .ics calendar file and a scannable QR code guests can use directly from a printed invite. One scan — one tap — added to their calendar. That was the spark.
We shared it quietly. A few friends used it for birthdays. Then a colleague for a corporate seminar. A small business owner for a product launch. Each person came back with a new idea — barcodes for retail, a product showcase for a trade show, live scoreboards for sports events, ticket redemption for concerts.
We listened to every one of them. Each feature on this platform exists because a real person asked for it. Today, QR For Events is used by event planners, retailers, exhibitors, schools, and community organizers across India and worldwide — and we are just getting started.
Everything runs in your browser. QR codes, barcodes, and invitation previews are generated entirely on your device using JavaScript — we never upload your images to our servers. When you create an event or share a link, only the event data you choose to share is stored.
