What is QR For Events?
QR For Events is a free platform with four main tools:
  • Events -- Digital invitations with QR codes, shareable links, and calendar files (.ics)
  • Quick QR -- Utility QR codes for URLs, WiFi, vCards, UPI payments, and more
  • Barcode -- 1D barcode generator supporting Code 128, EAN-13, UPC-A, and Code 39
  • Mini Mart -- Lightweight product storefronts shared via QR code
No signup or account creation is required.
Is it free to use?
You can try the platform using a free access code available on the landing page. This gives you a set number of event creations to explore all features. No signup or credit card required.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Enter an access code on the landing page and start using the platform immediately.
What is the access code system?
Access codes control how you use the platform. Each code has a set number of event creations and shared link views. Some codes unlock Elite features (Baby Shower, Housewarming, MomentStack, Event Tickets, etc.). Elite Infinity codes additionally unlock Sports events with live scoreboards. A free trial code is available on the landing page.
Is the platform mobile-friendly?
Yes. QR For Events is fully responsive and works on smartphones, tablets, and desktops. Creating events, generating QR codes, barcodes, and Mini Mart storefronts all work on mobile.
Can I create content in other languages?
Yes. The platform supports all UTF-8 characters, so you can create invitations, QR codes, and storefronts in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Spanish, French, Arabic, Chinese, and any other language.

Events

What types of events can I create?
Standard events (no Elite code required):
  • Wedding, Birthday, Corporate, Concert, Online, Memorial
  • Custom -- upload an image and the platform auto-detects event details
  • Let It Be Said -- share a heartfelt message as a themed page
Elite events:
  • Baby Shower, Housewarming, Tonsure/Mundan, Inauguration
  • MomentStack -- combine up to 5 events into one shareable link
  • Business Card -- share your contact details digitally
  • Event Tickets -- multi-tier ticket campaigns with QR code redemption
Elite Infinity events:
  • Sports (Cricket, Volleyball) -- with live scoreboard and admin controls
Each event type has its own themed template.
How do QR code invitations work?
1) Enter your event details on the platform. 2) A unique QR code, shareable link, and .ics calendar file are generated. 3) Share via WhatsApp, email, or social media. 4) Guests scan the QR code or open the link. 5) They see your themed event page and can add the event to their calendar. No app download required.
What is a calendar file (.ics)?
An .ics file is a universal calendar format compatible with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and other calendar apps. The platform automatically generates one for your event so guests can add it to their calendar with one click and receive reminders before the event.
What is MomentStack?
MomentStack lets you combine up to 5 events into a single shareable link. Useful for multi-day celebrations like wedding weeks, festival schedules, or conference agendas where you want all events displayed together on one page.
What is Let It Be Said?
Let It Be Said is an emotion expression feature. Create a heartfelt message, share it as a themed page, and the recipient can respond with interactive buttons. Useful for expressing gratitude, appreciation, or any sentiment you want to share.
How do Event Tickets work?
Create a ticket campaign with a title, venue, organizer, and expiration date. Add multiple ticket tiers (e.g., VIP, General, Early Bird) with different quantities and prices. Each ticket gets a unique QR code. At your venue, use the built-in QR scanner to validate and redeem tickets in real time. Track redemption status from the admin dashboard.
How does the Sports Event feature work?
Create a sports event for Cricket or Volleyball, share the event link with spectators, and use the admin panel to update scores in real-time. Spectators see a live scoreboard that auto-refreshes. You receive a separate admin URL with a secure token to control the scoreboard during the match. Requires an Elite Infinity access code.
Can I track how many people viewed my invitation?
Yes. Every shared event link tracks view counts so you can see how many people have opened your invitation.
How long do event links stay active?
Event invitation links and QR codes remain active permanently. The calendar file and event details are always accessible.

Quick QR

What is Quick QR?
Quick QR is a utility QR code generator available on the main page under the "Quick QR" tab. It generates scannable QR codes for everyday use cases, separate from event invitations.
What types of QR codes can I generate?
Quick QR supports 13 types:
  • URL -- Link to any website
  • Text -- Plain text message
  • Email -- Pre-filled email address
  • SMS -- Pre-filled text message
  • Wi-Fi -- Network name and password for instant connection
  • vCard -- Contact card with name, phone, email, and address
  • Phone -- Quick-dial a phone number
  • WhatsApp -- Open a WhatsApp chat with a specific number
  • UPI Pay -- Payment QR with UPI ID and amount
  • Location -- Share a place via coordinates
  • Social -- Link to a social media profile
  • Review -- Link to a review or feedback page
  • QR Cube -- Printable 3D desk display with 4 QR code faces (Instagram, Website, UPI, Google Review, and more)
Can I customize the QR code style and colors?
Yes. You can choose from 5 dot styles: Rounded, Dots, Square, Pill, and Classy. For colors, pick from presets (Navy, Blue, Red, Green, Purple, Black) or use the custom color picker to match your brand or preference.
Does Quick QR require an access code?
Yes. You need a valid access code to use Quick QR. The same access code used for event creation works for Quick QR. A free trial code is available on the landing page.
What is the difference between Quick QR and Event QR codes?
Event QR codes link to a hosted event page with a themed template, calendar file, venue details, and view tracking. Quick QR codes encode data directly into the QR code itself (a URL, WiFi credentials, contact card, etc.) and do not create a hosted page. Use Events for invitations; use Quick QR for utility codes.
What is QR Cube?
QR Cube is a printable 3D desk display you can fold and assemble. It has 4 scannable sides — each with a QR code for a different link (Instagram, Website, UPI Pay, Google Review, WhatsApp, or custom). The top and bottom faces show your business name and logo. You download a flat PNG net, print it, cut along the marked lines, fold on the lighter lines, and glue the tabs. Ideal for shop counters, cafe tables, reception desks, and trade show booths.
What sizes are available for QR Cube?
QR Cube is available in 4 print sizes: 6 cm (compact), 8 cm (standard - default), 10 cm (large), and 12 cm (XL). The 8 cm size fits comfortably on a cafe table or shop counter. Larger sizes are better for trade show displays where visibility from a distance matters.
Is QR Cube free to use?
Yes. QR Cube is free for all users. No access code, no signup. Enter your business name, upload your logo, configure the 4 QR sides, and download the print-ready PNG. The same access code used for events and Quick QR also works here.

Barcode

What barcode formats are supported?
The platform supports 4 barcode formats:
  • Code 128 -- Suitable for tickets, IDs, and asset tags. Accepts letters, numbers, and special characters.
  • EAN-13 -- International retail product barcodes. Requires exactly 13 digits.
  • UPC-A -- US retail product barcodes. Requires exactly 12 digits.
  • Code 39 -- Used in industrial and inventory applications. Accepts uppercase letters, numbers, and a few special characters.
Can I generate barcodes in bulk?
Yes. The bulk barcode feature lets you generate up to 100 barcodes at once. You can enter values manually (one per line) or upload a CSV or TXT file. All generated barcodes can be downloaded together as a ZIP file. All 4 barcode formats are supported for bulk generation.
Can I customize barcode appearance?
Yes. You can customize:
  • Bar color -- Black, Navy, Blue, Red, Green, or a custom color
  • Bar height -- Small (40px), Medium (80px), Large (120px), or XL (150px)
  • Text visibility -- Show or hide the value text below the bars
Can I add product labels to barcodes?
Yes. The optional Label Details section lets you add a company/brand name, product name, price, and extra info line. These details appear alongside the barcode when printed.
Are the generated barcodes suitable for retail use?
The barcodes are technically valid and scannable. However, for commercial retail use (selling products in stores), EAN-13 and UPC-A codes must be officially registered through GS1 to avoid conflicts with other products. The platform displays a warning about this for retail barcode formats. For internal use such as inventory tracking, asset tagging, or event tickets, no registration is needed.
Does the Barcode tool require an access code?
Yes. You need a valid access code to generate barcodes. The same access code used for event creation and Quick QR works here. A free trial code is available on the landing page.

Mini Mart

What is Mini Mart?
Mini Mart lets you create a lightweight product storefront and share it via a QR code or link. Add products with images, prices, and descriptions. Visitors scan the QR code to browse your products on their phone. No app download required.
What store modes are available?
Mini Mart offers 3 modes:
  • Showcase Only -- Display your products with a contact button. Visitors browse and reach out to you directly.
  • Showcase + Lead Capture -- Visitors can express interest in specific products. You receive leads per product.
  • Showcase + Ordering -- Visitors build an inquiry/order list and send it to you via WhatsApp or Email.
How many products can I add?
You can add up to 20 products per storefront. Each product can have an image, name, price, and description.
Can I customize the storefront appearance?
Yes. You can set a store name, description/tagline, and upload a store logo (max 200KB). The theme color can be automatically extracted from your logo or set manually using a custom color picker.
Can I use Mini Mart for trade shows and exhibitions?
Yes. Mini Mart is designed for exhibitors at trade shows, expos, and pop-up shops. Create your product storefront, generate a QR code, and display it at your booth. Visitors scan to browse products, express interest, or place orders from their phones.
What contact details are needed for Mini Mart?
You need to provide an owner/business name and a contact phone number or email address. Optionally, you can add a WhatsApp number for the contact button on your storefront. The contact details are displayed to visitors so they can reach you.
Does Mini Mart require an access code?
Yes. You need a valid access code to create a Mini Mart storefront. The same access code used for event creation works here. A free trial code is available on the landing page.
